About Sleepyland
Sleepyland is a free sound machine that runs in your browser. Press play and it makes brown, pink, or white noise and ocean surf on your device as you listen, with no recordings to download and no account to create. Start from Sleep, Relax, or Focus, then tune the noise color, warmth, volumes, and the time between waves. Beside the sound machine, Sleepyland publishes short guides to sleep, sound, and light that link every source. It is built by Hraness.

What you can do
- Choose Sleep, Relax, or Focus. Each mode is a different starting mix.
- Open Tune to set Energy (Gentle, Balanced, or Strong), the noise color, warmth, separate noise and wave volumes, and the wave interval. Energy changes how much and how fast the sound moves without changing the overall volume.
- On the sound machine, press play to start and press it again to stop. The timer button opens Session: play until you stop, set a countdown of 15, 30, 50, 60, or 90 minutes that ends with a gradual fade, or, in Focus, alternate work and break blocks.
- Watch a live spectrum of the sound you hear. Tap it to play a pulse, or hold and move to explore pitches.
Keep Sleepyland open in your browser while it plays. Closing or reloading the tab stops the sound. Whether it keeps playing in a background tab or with the screen locked depends on your browser and device, and Sleepyland does not guarantee it.
Your settings are saved in this browser. On sleepy.land, anonymous analytics without cookies can include the mode you pick and the kind of session you play. They don’t include Energy, Tune settings, exact listening time, or audio. The privacy page lists everything that can leave your device.
